KMSWERK
01
Written, not drawn.
The stem falls first. The arm and the leg open from it, the w runs on in one breath, and the last stroke lands flat on its cut top. Each stroke speeds up and settles the way a hand does. The mark is written the same way on this site and in our films.
Stroke order
02
The last stroke is our arrow.
Thin at the bottom, thick and flat-cut at the top, leaning right: about 66° on its left side and 54° on its right. It is the slash in our ≠, the arrow in every button and the marker of the current item. We use no generic arrows.
03
KMS heavy. WERK thin.
One size, one baseline: KMS at weight 900, WERK at 100. Below 32 pixels WERK steps up to 200 so it does not break up. Next to the Kw, the wordmark is exactly as tall as the mark.
